Cloud Computing: Great for Solopreneurs
Solo entrepreneurs need more cloud computing options to run their businesses and thanks to products like GDrive, they will!
A lot of self-employed people are really benefiting from cloud computing. Today, more than ever, people work remotely and need to be able to access their info on the fly. With an increasing number of online entrepreneurs, the ability to access info from anywhere is imperative.
A lot of work at home people don’t take days off—even if they’re on holidays. It’s important to keep your business afloat when you’re a solopreneur and having the ability to access your files from anywhere can make it possible for you to actually take a bit of a holiday once in a while. Tools like GDrive could make that very possible.
What is Gdrive?
Gdrive exists only in theory at the time this post is being written because it’s a rumored Google product that will eliminate the need for external storage. People will be able to access their hard drive from the internet via a secure connection this way and that could make for smoother flow of business for those who have to (or want to) travel while maintaining their business. They can upload and download to their g-drive without having to fiddle with portable storage products.
Online Storage Options
Services like Gdrive already exist from quite a few online providers. Some are free and some are fee-based but a lot of entrepreneurs are anxiously awaiting Google’s answer to online storage because of how much easier it will be to manage their business. Hopefully GDrive will be able to be integrated with some of the other great Google apps that are out there as well!
